Hope is Not Cancelled
Virtual Event – August 2020
As many of you know, Combined Energy Services has been a proud sponsor of the Allyson Whitney 5k for the last 9 years. Unfortunately, the event was cancelled in May, but Barbara and her team are very creative. They are sponsoring the Hope is Not Cancelled Virtual Event from August 5th to 29th. A participant can walk or run a traditional 5k, run eating ice cream, walk while bouncing a ball, ride a bike or do it your way (which can be anything). @allyson4rare #awf4hope
The Allyson Whitney Foundation is a nonprofit organization the primarily provides young adult cancer patients with “Life Interrupted Grants™” to ease their financial burden so that they can concentrate their energy on healing. The work of the Allyson Whitney Foundation is to continue Ally’s wishes and her aspiration to show that cancer can happen at any moment, to anyone. Learn more about their work here.
