10 Tips to Help You Save Energy This Summer

1. Increasing the temperature by even one degree can have a huge impace on your bill.
2. Adjust your home’s temperature while you’re away. Don’t worry about wasting energy cooling your home when no one is there to enjoy it.  A programmable thermostat makes adjusting the temperature to a comfortable level easy when you return.

8. Replace filters regularly. Replace your air conditioners filters on a monthly bases.  A clogged air filter makes your air conditioner work harder, in turn, costing you more money.
9. Use ceiling fans. Ceiling fans help improve the air flow and assist with cooling your home when you don’t need air conditioning.  This is great for days that aren’t too hot but are slightly uncomfortable.
